Archbishop Isaac Idahosa has been announced as the running mate for the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
This was disclosed by the party via a post from its official Twitter handle on Thursday which reads, “Our VP Pastor Bishop Isaac Idahosa from Edo State.
The Lagos-based cleric is the Senior Pastor of God First Ministry a.k.a Illumination Assembly, Lekki Light Centre (LLC), Ajah, Lagos State.
Recall that NNPP and the Labour Party (LP) were in talks to form an alliance for the 2023 presidential elections but Kwankwaso and the LP presidential candidate, Peter Obi disagreed on who should deputize who.
Kwankwaso’s nomination of his running mate will meet the deadline set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for parties to submit details of their presidential nominees and running mates for the 2023 general elections.
