The Federal Government has declared Monday and Tuesday, 26th and 27th June, 2017 as public holiday to mark Eid-El-Fitr celebration.


The Minister of Interior, Gen. Andulrahman Dambazau (Rtd) made this known on Thursday in a statement issued by the Director, Office of the Permanent Secretary (DOOPS), Dr. Rufa'i Kawu Attahiru.


In the statement, Gen. Dambazau admonished Nigerians to use the occasion to pray for national peace and security, especially now that misguided youths have intensified preachment of divisive rhetoric’s. He also appealed to Nigerians to support the President Muhammadu Buhari administration to enable him deliver the change he promised.
