Former Speaker for the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has reverted back to his former party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after dumping the All Progressive Congress, APC ahead of the 2023 general election. A few days ago, Dogara endorsed the candidacy of the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, before making up his mind to call it a quit with the ruling party, APC. He was welcomed back to the main opposition PDP during a presidential rally campaign in Lagos state today.

This is coming barely 48hrs when some aggrieved northern extraction members of the APC declared their support to the former vice president Atiku Abubakar.

Dogara has a fallout with the APC when it becomes clear to him that the party was opting for a Muslim/Muslim candidate for the 2023 general election which some people especially the Christendom criticized the ruling party for.

Dogara, dumped PDP in July year 2020 to join the APC in an effort to actualize his political ambition in the ruling party.

He is representing the Bogoro/Dass constituency of Bauchi state as Hose of the Representative members in the National Assembly.
