The Imo state commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Service Defence Corps, NSCDC, Raji Ibrahim, on Monday said the Corps has perfected plans to query one of his personnel, who allegedly shot dead a 2019 Action Alliance, AA, senatorial candidate, Ndubuisi Emenike, in Imo state. The NSCDC state commandant, Ibrahim, was reacting to the incident that triggered a public outcry.
Senate President Speaks On Security Challenges In The Country
President of the Nigeria Senate, Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, on Monday, said the current security challenge confronting the country requires all citizens to work together. He made the call while speaking at an interactive session with Senate Press Corps in Abuja. The chief lawmaker said it was not the time for ‘buck-passing’ as the government was assiduously working to take care of security challenges.
