Manchester City and Nigerian striker, Kelechi Iheanacho is on the verge of leaving the Etihad on a permanent transfer in the summer. The 20-year-old Nigerian has dropped further down the pecking order since the arrival of Brazilian forward, Jesus Gabriel to City, a situation that has greatly limited his playing time.

With growing interest from German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund for a permanent transfer and Southampton and Hoffenheim asking for a loan deal, City are willing to listen to offers for the young talent.

Some Nigerian football fans who spoke on the situation are of the opinion that the move would be a welcomed development as it would afford him more playing time and help him develop into a world class striker.

Iheanacho already has 21 goals for Man. City despite making only 20 starts for the club
