Daishawn Reddan has disclosed the reason why he rejected an opportunity to join Manchester United in the summer. The 16-year-old who was one of the most sought-after youngsters in Europe after rising to fame with Dutch giants Ajax said he was in awe of Chelsea and could not have moved to Old Trafford when Chelsea also made an offer. .



Speaking with Ajax Showtime, the player said though he was fascinated by facilities at Old Trafford, he was blown by Chelsea's resources.


According to him;


"I looked at three clubs: Chelsea, Manchester United and West Ham. Manchester United was fine, but at Chelsea it was ‘wow’. The complex, the fields, I just saw how professional it all was. I was really impressed at Chelsea. I want to develop into a big, strong striker who is also good at playing football."
