Egyptian born AS Roma striker, Mohammed Salah is set to undergo medicals on Tuesday at Anfield ahead of an agreed transfer to Liverpool. According to Kingfut, an Egyptian tabloid, Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool Coach has been a long admirer of Salah and has requested the board to secure his signature. The club is believed to have paid £39 to seal the deal.

Salah had signed for Chelsea FC in 2014 but failed to make a remarkable impact before he was loaned to Florentina on transfer deadline, February 2, 2015. The loan deal saw Juan Cuadrado moving in the opposite direction. Salah eventually joined Roma in 2015/2015 on a season long loan with the option to make the deal permanent.

He was named player of the season due to his sterling performance, having scored 15 goals for Roma, finishing as the Club's top scorer. Roma made his deal permanent in August 2016 for a reported €15 million.

His arrival in Liverpool is expected to make Klopp's team sharper upfront, as Liverpool battles from the League title and continental trophy.
