Nigerian striker and 2013 AFCON winner, Emmanuel Emenike has joined Greek champions Olympiacos from Turkish side Fenerbahce on a two-year deal for a transfer fee of €2m.
Emenike, 30, follows in the footsteps of Rashidi Yekini, James Obiorah, Haruna Babangida, Michael Olaitan and Brown Aide Ideye as the latest Nigerian to line out for Greek giants.
The 2013 AFCON top scorer endured a torrid time at Fenerbahce especially with the fans, and barely managed just four goals in 15 appearances for the club last season.
While at Fenerbache, Emenike spent time on loan at UAE club Al Ain and English premier league side, West Ham. His poor form in front of goal continued as he failed to net a league goal in 13 appearances for the premier league side.
Emenike joined Fenerbahce for a second time in 2013 from Spartak Moscow, having previously moved to the Turkish side in 2011. He played in 91 matches for the club, scoring 25 goals in all competitions.
