Colombian born Real Madrid midfielder, James Rodriguez is set to join Manchester United after agreeing to personal terms with the Club.

According to The Mirror, the deal took place after the player was told he is free to leave Bernabeu. The report, however, added that though personal terms have been settled, Madrid is yet to seal a deal with United.

Madrid had spent a whooping £61million on the Colombian international in July 2014 and are hoping to make United pay €70million.

Rodriguez became unsettled in Madrid due to inadequate playing time. The situation worsened when he was dropped by Zinedine Zidane for this year's Champion's League final in Cardiff. He is expected to strengthen the United team next season, as Jose Mourinho targets both domestic and continental trophies.
