Samsung’s new and improved camera capabilities are the main thrust for its latest flagship smartphones, Galaxy S9 and S9+. The largest smartphone selling coming unveiled its latest devices at MWC 2018. The camera, it’s the focus of this device. The 12MP camera sensor comes with a mechanically adjustable variable aperture setup — f/1.4 lens for 28 percent more light in dark conditions and f/2.4 lens for outdoor shooting.

Ford Motor Co. says it is ramping up investment in electric and hybrid vehicles and plans to introduce 40 by 2022, saying it will introduce 16 battery-electric cars and 24 hybrids or plug-in hybrids around the world in the next few years. Ford Motor will increase to $11 billion its investment in electrified vehicles between now and 2022. The plan more than doubles an earlier plan, announced in 2016, to spend $4.5 billion on 13 new electrified vehicles by 2020.

Twenty First Century Fox Inc’s Fox Sports is partnering with Twitter Inc to stream a live show and Snap Inc’s Snapchat to showcase stories with matchday highlights on the FIFA World Cup soccer tournament to be hosted in Russia later this year. Fox Sports would produce the show, which will be streamed from Moscow's Red Square on each match day and provide previews, recaps and near real-time video highlights for each game, the company said.

Jeff Bezos' Amazon reached $1,500 a share Wednesday for the first time ever. Amazon's stock is up 27% in 2018 even though the broader market is about flat on the year.

The company's market value is now $718 billion, trailing only Apple (AAPL) and Google (GOOG).

Finnish cybersecurity specialist F-Secure has reported another serious flaw in Intel hardware. It has nothing to do with the Spectre and Meltdown vulnerabilities, but has a huge "destructive potential" too. F-Secure said Friday it had found a serious flaw in Intel hardware which could enable hackers to access corporate laptops remotely.

It’s the world’s first modular MicroLED TV, aptly christened “The Wall”, Samsung’s 146” TV is a marvel and while it’s huge, it’s really the technology behind it that has us more excited. Most people must have heard of MicroLED as a potential future replacement of OLED (on phones and elsewhere). It is similar in that each pixel is its own light so it offers perfect black levels (and doesn’t need a backlight like LCD, no color filters either).
