Pictures of the Governor of River State, Nyesom Wike and Nigerian talented Comedian, Kenny Blaq "clawing" after the latter's performance at an event to commemorate ''Rivers at 50'' have emerged online. Many commentators on twitter attributed the handshake to a special greeting for members of the same cult group.

Some even claimed that the duo maybe members of Ogboni Confraternity. The controversial picture surfaced following Gov. Wike's allegation that Rotimi Amaechi had inaugurated cult groups in Port Harcourt, with members of the group being given N500, 000 each as incentive.

The Governor further claimed that the aim of such cult group may not be unconnected with the 2019 general elections in the state. He lamented that the move would hamper the amnesty granted to criminal elements and cult members by the state government.

Meanwhile, Rotimi Amaechi, the Minister of Transport has denied being a member of any cult group, describing Gov. Wike as suffering from "gubernatorial madness".
