Nigerian singer, songwriter and entrepreneur, Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, better known by his stage name Mr Easi said those appearing to compare Wizkid with other artistes in terms of presence in the international scene are doing so in error as the Ojuelegba crooner is way ahead of others.
He described Wizkid as the best artiste in the industry and stressed that the only two Nigerian artistes whose songs are regularly played on radio in the United Kingdom are Wizkid and himself.
‘If you go into the UK and put on the radio, the only two artistes you’ll most likely hear on radio are Wizkid and I. If you put on the TV, you would see me and Wizkid on it. And the next R2Bees project, you will see it there. At the end of the day, it’s like I’ve done everything, I’ve given you guys hits on hits’,’ Mr Eazi added
The singer hinted that he has received multimillion dollars contracts to leave his current record label but expressed his readiness to remain at the Star Boy record
‘Between the first Ghana Music Awards where Wizkid announced me till now, I’ve gotten record deal offers going into millions of dollars. I’ve not signed because I see that there’s growth with Starboy Worldwide, so the evidences are clear. What Wizkid is doing right now, there’s nobody in the game doing what he’s doing.'
