Naseeb Abdul Juma, popularly known by his stage name Diamond Platnumz, who is one of Tanzania's top artists has had some of his songs banned by the Government.
Tanzania's Ministry of Information, in a statement written in Kiswahili language, accused him of breaching broadcasting laws.
The ministry revealed that the list of the banned songs were compiled by the state's body in charge of arts and culture.
Among the list of songs banned includes; Hallelujah and Waka Waka by Diamond Platinumz.
Some of the music videos depicted dancing which were considered too sexually suggestive.
The international star had several collaborations with top Nigerian artists including Davido.
