COVID-19: Global Lockdown Softens As Cases Draw Close To 3million

Authorities of countries including the United States of America, France and Italy are gearing up for partial ease of lockdowns and severe restrictions on movements and other usual activities to reopen economies and business ravaged globally by the coronavirus pandemicThe daily toll in Western countries appeared to be levelling off and even declining, but fears prevail in several places of a second surge after restrictions on movement are lifted.

A Downing Street spokesperson has confirmed that United Kingdom Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has been discharged from hospital. "The PM has been discharged from Hospital to continue his recovery at Chequers," the spokesperson said. "On the advice of his medical team, the PM will not be immediately returning to work.

Russian Court Backs Putin To Rule Till 2036

A Constitutional Court in Russia on Monday has approved a constitutional amendment that will allow country president Vladimir Putin to rule for 16 more years. Putin who became President of Russia in 2012 backed a constitutional amendment that would allow him to run again for the fourth time after his current term. This means that he will run for another six years in 2024 and 2030.
