In a wee hour of this morning Sunday, the people fo Gwoza town in Gwoza Local Government of Borno state were greeted with another tragedy as a suicide bomber gained entranced into a mosque during early morning prayers and detonated a twin bomb. The bomb left one 12years old boy dead and many injured in various degrees.
A security source who disclosed this said the suicide bomber forced his way into the mosque while the prayer was ongoing, saying before the person who saw him raised alarm; the attacker has already gained entry into the mosque and detonated the Improvised Explosive Device (IED), killing himself and a 12 years old boy.
The incident happened around Guduf Nagadiyo area of Bulabulin in Gwoza town, in Gwoza LGA.
Soldiers of the 192 battalion of the Nigerian Army rushed to the science where they condoned the area.
A resident in the area disclosed that the suicide might have infiltrated the town during a wedding that took place at the Emirs Palace of Gwoza on Saturday.
