Terror Alert: IGP Releases Emergency Phone Numbers

Following the speculations on terrorist attacks already causing panic and unease across the nation's capital. the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba had released some emergency phone numbers to reach out to in a state of uncertainty for prompt action. The force spokesman, Olumuyiwa Adejobi disclose in a statement, that the police are working in collaboration with other security agencies, to ensure the safety of all citizens. More so, noting that the is no such imminent or impending attack on the FCT as stated by the United States. Although, he made it clear that security has been beefed up in all command and tactical formations.

The statement reads in part: “Residents within the FCT are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious or abnormal occurrence and persons to the Police through the following emergency lines: 08032003913, 08061581938, 07057337653, and 08028940883.”

As part of security measures, The FCT Administration demolished shanties on Law School land, and also the popular Jabi Lake Mall has halted operations over the same security concerns.
