The son in-law to Rochas Okorocha, the Governor of Imo State, Uche Nwosu has dumped the Democratic Peoples Party (DPP), few days after defecting from the All Progressives Congress (APC).  Nwosu is now the Governorship Candidate of Action Alliance (AA). The former Chief of Staff's campaign posters and Billboard sighted in Owerri, the Imo State capital had the party's name and logo printed on them.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday joined world leaders in mourning the death of former president of the United States, George H.W. Bush. According to Dailypost, the 41st President of the USA died on Saturday at age of 94.
