The Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Shehu Sani has revealed two major threats that may hinder successful conduct of the 2019 general elections by Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

The Senator who took to his Twitter handle to share his thought, listed vote buying with public funds and abuse of security apparatus as the major factors that may work against the elections.


His however called on Nigerians to be vigilant and resist the agents of darkness, stressing that vigilance was the only neutralizer.


His tweet reads


“There are two major threats to the credibility of the 2019 general elections: the massive use of public resources to buy votes and voters and the cruel misuse and abuse of the state apparatuses to intimidate opponents, temper and manipulate the process. Mass vigilance is the neutralizer.”
