President Muhammadu Buhari has called on Nigerians electorates to vote people with credibility ahead of the forth coming general election. The President made this statement through Dr, Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, the Executive Secretary of Tertiary Education trust fund (TETFUND) at the annual Maulidi celebration (a gathering by Qadiriya sect in Kano).

Mr, President disclosed that electorates has a stake to play in the fight against corruption and maladministration by giving only the credible candidate a chance to rule them through the power of their vote.


He revealed his administration had taken the giant stride in fixing the wrongs of the last administration and determines to do more if given node for another mandate by the electorates in 2019.


Buhari affirmed his determination to rescue Nigeria back to its lost glory where every citizen will be proud of it once more.


According to him, though he is committed to serving Nigeria and sees it grow through success and prosperity, however, the masses has a stake to play in the whole process through ensuring credible leaders get into the right office.


Mr, president admitted corruption is the major clog in the wheel of Nigeria progress, however assured the effort of his administration in taking the country through to “Next Level” if Nigerians renewed faith in him by voting him back.


He commended the leader of the sect late, Sheikh Nasiru Kabara, whom he described as “a reformer and scholar” whom has contributed to religious propagation immensely with no match.


Subsequently, the TETFUND boss promised to publish the non published work of the scholar which he left behind. He disclosed this will be part of his contribution to the sect.


Earlier, the leader of the sect described president Buhari as a man with listening heart, a nationalist who has the country at heart.
