The All progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State has said President Muhammadu Buhari will defeat the presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar in Adamawa, his home state in the coming election.

The Governor of the state, Jubril Bindow who stated this while inaugurating the Buhari and Bindow Campaign Team, BBCT, said the group was conceived to ensure comprehensive defeat of the PDP at all levels. He explained that the Committee which was set up in Adamawa North Senatorial District will embark on a house-to-house campaign in order to mobilize support for the party.

He said President Muhammadu Buhari has kept to his promise of tackling corruption and insecurity in the country stressing that he has also encouraged the development of the North-East.

“President Buhari has demonstrated uncommon love for the North East having executed massive road projects in the region. The establishment of North East Development Commission and relentless efforts to end activities of terrorists in the region, must be seen as reasons why the President should be rewarded with votes next year.

The Governor urged the people to eschew violence, thuggery and vote-buying during the poll. He also appealed those that are yet to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVSc) to do so.
