Emerging reports indicate that a new batch of 34 Nigerians have been deported from Six European countries over Immigration-related issues. The countries include Iceland, Germany, Hungary, Belgium, Austria and Switzerland.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the deportees arrived the Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Thursday morning.
The Spokesman of the Aiport, DSP Joseph Alabi who confirmed the development said “This morning, we received 34 Nigerians who were brought back from Europe. They were made up of 32 males and two females.”
He disclosed that they were received by officials of the Nigeria Immigration Service and National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, the Police and National Drug Law Enforcement Agency among others.
The deportees were profiled by the relevant agencies and allowed to depart to their various homes.
