The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it will display preliminary voters' register at the various registration centres across the country from next week.


According to a release posted on the Commission's Notice Board, the move was to enable voters crosscheck their details and effect the necessary correction before the Commission prints the Permanent Voter Cards (PVC). The Commission stated that the register will be displayed for only seven days.


It encouraged those who registered during the Continued Voter Registration or applied for the transfer of their card to exploit this opportunity to assist the Commission produce reliable register that will assist in the conduct of free, fair and credible elections in 2019.
