President Muhammadu Buhari has declared his intention to seek reelection in the 2019 presidential election billed to be conducted in February. Although no detail was provided, reports suggest that the President may have declared his intention at the ongoing National Executive Committee meeting of the All progressives Congress (APC).
The meeting is expected to take a final position on the controversial tenure elongation of the Oeygun-led National Working Committee of the party.
