Chelsea Midfielder, Cesc Fabregas has revealed that he was not allowed into Chelsea's dressing room after the shock 0-3 defeat to Bournemouth last week at Stanford Bridge. The Spain International disclosed that after the match, he was hauled in for an anti-doping test and was banned from the dressing room. He further explained that he remained where the test was conducted until midnight.
Speaking with Sky Sports Soccer Am, the player said
“After the game I don’t know because I was called for a doping test straight after the game and stayed at the ground until midnight. I was not allowed into the dressing room so I don’t know what happened.”
Speaking on the expectation of fans after the defeat, Fabregas expressed confidence that the team would quickly get over the nightmare and put in a top-level performance in subsequent games.
“We have to keep our heads up. It was a very disappointing night for many reasons. Now is not the time to feel sorry for ourselves or put our heads down, in fact it’s time for the opposite. “We now have to be stronger than ever, show the quality we’ve got, our leadership and try to focus better than what we’ve done lately and perform at the top level again.”
