Chelsea Fans Face Bans Over Anti-Semitic Alvaro Morata Chant

Chelsea have vowed to take "the strongest possible action" against fans found singing an anti-Semitic chant. The club condemned the song about Alvaro Morata by their fans during Saturday's 2-1 win over Leicester City.

Former Barcelona President, Joan Laporta has announced his signing of ongoing petition/vote of no confidence against the current President of the club, Josep Maria Bartomeu and his board. Laporta made the disclosure on his Twitter handle @JoanLaportaFCB. According to the Tweet which was posted in Spanish, the former President disclosed that he was the 15, 142 person to have signed the petition so far.

Sadio Mane has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for August. The Liverpool forward, who just returned from a lengthy injury spell to join his teammates during the preseason, defeated his teammate, Mohammed Salah as well as Alvaro Morata, Romelu Lukaku, Henry Mkhitaryan and Jonas Lossl to win the award.
