Tottenham have reportedly completed the signing of Serge Aurier from Paris Saint Germain (PSG) in a deal believed to be in the region of £23 million. The Ivory Coast International who is currently 24-years-old shall remain with Spurs till 2022.  Speaking after the completion of his deal, the player told Spur official website;

"This is a huge and exciting opportunity at a massive football club and I am determined to prove myself as a professional both on and off the pitch. This is a fresh start for me and I will do everything to make the Spurs fan base, which is huge and diverse, proud of me. The fans are the most important people at any club and I am looking forward to showing them and everyone at Spurs the real Serge Aurier" he added.


Confirming the exit of Aurier from PSG, the League 1 club wrote:
"Paris Saint-Germain thanks Serge for the fighting spirit he always showed in the red-and-blue shirt and wishes him all the very best for the new challenges that await him at his new club in London."


Meanwhile, Tottenham had since announced the signing of the player via its Twitter handle @SpursOfficial "We are delighted to announce the signing of @Serge_aurier from Paris Saint-Germain. #WelcomeAurier"
