Chelsea's Eden Hazard has called on the management of the club to facilitate the return of their embattled striker, Diego Costa to the team. Hazard made the call while speaking with Marca. According to him "Diego and I have been playing together for three years. We won everything together except the Champions League. It is a pleasure to play with him: he is a top player and a top person. I would like to see him back, but I do not make the decisions.
I hope we can find a solution and see him on the field soon.”
He enthused that though he has not played with the new entrant, Alvaro Morata, their combination would produce a good result for the club.
“He is still very young, but he has won many titles with Juve and Madrid, so he has a lot of experience. We need this type of player, able to score many goals, and Alvaro can do it. We are happy with him. He is a good boy, talkative, even in English. We are looking forward to playing together.”
Costa is currently in Brazil after refusing to return to Chelsea. He had accused the club of treating him like a criminal and attempting to banish him to the reserve team with no access to the first team.
Following his failed attempt to secure a move back to Atletico Madrid, Chelsea has since included his name in the list of 25 players billed to prosecute the Premier League this season.
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid has reportedly called on the player to make peace with Chelsea, if he is keen on the transfer. The club is believed to be worried that the player might be out of form when a deal eventually materializes. The club is more worried that Spain has dropped him in the world cup qualifying matches and could leave him out of the squad if he fails to play regular competitive football matches.
