Peter Okoye of Psquare has berated the Federal Government for attempting to ban the production of music videos and movies outside the country. Mr. P who made his position known via his Twitter handle @peterpsquare stated that Nigerian governments from 1960 have all failed the people and projected the country negatively. He maintained that Nigerian entertainers were the ones working assiduously to positively rewrite the nation's ugly history.

The Federal Government has unveiled a $1million venture capital to boost the creative industry. The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, on announced the establishment of a $1 million Venture Capital to boost the Nigerian creative industry.

Retired Nollywood Actor, Ernest Asuzu has described Nigerian Movie industry popularly known as Nollywood as evil, claiming that operators in the industry rely on charms and evil power. According the Sun Newspaper, the Actor hinted that he was preparing to become a pastor and would make the industry a target so as to purge it of all evil spirits.
