The incumbent president of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa has been re-elected Under the African National Congress (ANC). Ramaphosa won his re-election bid with 2,476 votes to defeat his rival, Zweli Mkhize who happens to be a former minister of health.
His re-election comes after his opponents asked him to resign over an alleged scandal known as 'Farmscandal' which involved the discovery of a stash of cash at his farm.
