Less than three months after Prime Minister, Theresa May, called for a snap election, polling centers have opened across the United Kingdom. The election was called three years earlier than scheduled ahead of what is expected to be tough negotiations with the European Union over Brexit from the European bloc.

Greece's former Prime Minister and former Central Bank Chief has been injured after an explosive device hidden in an envelope went off inside his car in central Athens, according to Police. Lucas Papademos was taken to hospital with his driver who was also hurt, Reuters news agency reported a police official as saying on Thursday.

The Islamic State has claimed responsibility on Tuesday for bombing a pop concert in the British city of Manchester and killing 22 people, including children. The group said in a statement published on its social media channels that “one of the caliphate’s soldiers placed bombs among the crowds,” and threatened more attacks.

London has yet again witnessed another terror attack in what appears to be a copycat attack of the March 22, Westminster Bridge attack. A white van rammed into pedestrians on London Bridge on Saturday night, and then three men disembarked from the vehicle carried out multiple stabbings on people close Borough Market.

Terror Attack In the City of Manchester

The Manchester Arena was on Monday night hit by a suspected suicide bomber. The attacked happened at the end of a concert by US Singer, Ariana Grande. The Greater Manchester Police has released preliminary investigations, stating that a suspected lone male attacker carrying an Improvised Explosive Device had detonated the bomb killing over twenty people including children, while others are left hospitalized with several degrees of Injuries.
