Staff of the National Agency for Food Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) on Friday embarked on indefinite strike to demand implemenation of an agreement on imporved weklfare reached with management in 2013.

Members of Joint Health Sector Union (JOHESU) have commenced indefinite strike following the expiration of the 30 days ultimatum issued to the Federal Government to meet their demands. The National Chairman of the Union, Biobelemoye Josiah who declared the strike on Wednesday during a chat with newsmen in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital stated that the industrial action would effectively commence on Thursday, August 21.
