The Joint Health Sector Unions (JOHESU) of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, has issued a 14-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to meet its demands or face an indefinite strike. Mr Segun Sotiloye, the president of the UCH chapter of the Nigerian Union of Allied Health Professionals (NUAHP), gave the strike notice at a press conference on Thursday in Ibadan.

Declare A State Of Emergency In The Health Sector, Nurses Tells FG

The United Nations Children's Fund has concluded plans to organize a workshop on Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) for secondary school girls in Osun, Kano and Enugu. UNICEF Coordinator of MHM, Femi Aluko stated this on Sunday in Oshogbo the Osun state capital while having a chat with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). He disclosed that the essence of the workshop was to identify the challenges associated with MHM such as taboos and poor hygiene and proffer solution to them.
