Breaking: INEC Declares Rotimi Akeredolu Winner Of Ondo Elections

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Rotimi Akeredolu as the Governor-elect of the 2020 Ondo Election after he emerged victorious against Eyitayo Jegede of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Deputy Gov. Agboola Ajayi of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).

Breaking News: NPF Dissolves SARS

The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has officially dissolved the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS). The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, relayed this message during a press conference held October 11, 2020. He stated that the police officers deployed under SARS, will now be deployed for other purposes and a new anti-robbery squad with the same objectives as SARS will be named later. The principal law enforcement and the lead security agency in Nigeria boss added that conducts, members and activities of their unit investigated with collaboration with civil societies organisation - when found wanting, identified culprits within the force will be punished.
