FG Ask Foreign Nationals To Register With NIS

The Federal Government of Nigeria on Friday 12th July 2019 directed all foreigners in the country to register with the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) within six months under the migrant e-registration programme of the agency. Issuing the directive, President Muhammadu Buhari, stated that any alien who failed to comply would be declared an illegal migrant.

NSPMC To Commence Printing Of E-Passports

As part of efforts to ensure availability of the Nigerian e-passport, President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday 11th July 2019 cancelled all e-passport printing contracts abroad. The job will now rest on the oars of the Nigerian Security Printing & Minting Company (NSPMC).

NAFDAC Bans Sale of Sniper in the Open Market

Worried by the increasing cases of suicide in the country, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has announced the ban on the sale of Sniper and other brands of agricultural formulations of Dichlorvos. The directive was issued by the Director-General of NAFDAC, Prof. Moji Adeyeye, in a statement made available to the press.
