President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday 9th July 2019 approved the accelerated promotion of two senior officers and a subaltern of the Nigerian Army. In a statement contained and released by Army spokesman, Col. Sagir Musa, it said the officers were granted promotion for their extraordinary feats, courage, exemplary leadership, loyalty, uncommon commitment and valor in the counter-insurgency operation in the North-eastern part of the country.
