The United States of America’s (USA) Secretary of State, Antony Blinken as part of his three-nation tour of Africa has arrived in Nigeria and is in a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari hours after visiting Kenya. The US diplomat arrived at the Aso Rock Villa in a motorcade at about 3:47 pm on Thursday. He is expected to discuss security issues facing Nigeria especially terrorism in the northern region and after that, he will meet with the Vice President of the Nation, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo to sign some agreements between the USA and Nigeria.
Blinken will, after the meeting, with Osinbajo, hold a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, before leaving the State House.
