Sports Minister Approves Refund Of IAAF Money

Sequel to the mistaken transfer of some monies by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) to the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN), the Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare has approved the refund of the balance of the sum the IAAF.

Ese Brume picked up Nigeria’s first medal at the Athletics World Championship in Doha with 6.91 mark (+0.3 wind) in the Long jump event, earning her a Bronze after being ousted on Silver by Ukraine’s Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk (6.92).
