JOHESU Strike Sabotage: FG Warns Unions’ Members

The Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, has cautioned that striking Joint Health Sector Unions (JOHESU) have no constitutional right to harass other health workers not on strike or lock government facilities.

The minister gave the caution in a statement issued by Mr Oshundun Olajide, Deputy Director, Media and Public Relations of the ministry, on Tuesday in Abuja.

Olajide said the minister said this while reacting to a news briefing by the President, National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD), Dr Ugochukwu Chinaka.

Apple has cancelled plans to build an 850 million euro ($1 billion) data centre in Ireland because of delays in the approval process that have stalled the project for more than three years, the iPhone maker said on Thursday. Apple announced plans in February 2015 to build the facility in the rural western town of Athenry to take advantage of green energy sources nearby, but a series of planning appeals, chiefly from two individuals, delayed its approval.

Social networking giant, Facebook has revealed the scope of abuse on the site in a transparency report released recently that details how many and what types of offending posts the social network's moderators have removed. During the first quarter of 2018, Facebook deleted 865.8 million posts, the majority of which were spam, according to the report.

“Not once have we negotiated for Griezmann nor do we have any intention to do so,” he said in a statement issued on the team’s official website. “A few months ago, I personally expressed to Barcelona’s president that our player isn’t for sale nor are we going to sell him,” he continued.
