American Reality Star, Kim Kardashian has tested positive for Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis.
This was revealed during the premiere of Season 17 of the family’s reality show ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ on Sunday.

Lupus is an inflammatory autoimmune disease which occurs when a person’s immune system attacks his or her own tissues and organs. It can affect different parts of the body including joints, kidneys, skin, brain, blood cells, lungs and heart.

Kardashian, 38, also suffers from psoriasis, an autoimmune disease that causes patches of abnormal skin on a person’s body.

The reality star often complained of fatigue, swollen joints pain and body aches which she sought her doctor's opinion and underwent some tests.

“I’ve been feeling so tired, so nauseous and my hands are really getting swollen.

I feel like I literally am falling apart. My hands are numb,” she said.

Expressing her fears, she added “I have a baby on the way, I have a law school.

It just really can scare you when you start really thinking about how much this is gonna really change my life.”

Her doctor, Dr Daniel Wallace confirmed that she tested positive for Lupus, saying “Your antibodies are positive for lupus and rheumatoid arthritis.”

However, he said the Kardashian needed a follow-up test as “Sometimes, you can get false positives in these screenings.”

Meanwhile, her family and friends have expressed love and support for her through her health struggles.
