The Nigerian authority has on Sunday confirmed four new cases of the COVID-19 in the country, now bringing the total cases to 26 persons so far.
Contained on an official tweeter page of the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), @ncdcgov on Sunday, the agency revealed they now have 26 confirmed cases in Nigeria, though disclosed that two persons have recovered and have been discharged from isolation centres, bringing a relieve to Nigerians as no death has been recorded.
The tweeter which partly reads; “As at 08:05 am today, March 22nd, 2020, there are 26 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria.
“Of the 26 confirmed cases, 2 have been discharged with no death.
“For a breakdown of cases by states in real-time, please see, http://covid19.ncdc.gov.ng
“Currently, Lagos- 19; FCT- 3; Ogun- 2; Ekiti- 1; Oyo- 1. Total: 26 confirmed cases,” the tweets read.
Meanwhile, Oyo state government has also today confirm a new case whereas the person was tested positive for the virus.
