NAFDAC Cautions Over Fake COVID-19 Drugs In Circulation

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has cautioned the public of fake Coronavirus drugs and hand sanitizers in circulation. Speaking during a seminar conducted over the internet in Lagos state on Wednesday, the Director-General of NAFDAC, Prof. Moji Adeyeye said the agency has discovered fake Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine in circulation across the country.

COVID-19 Update: Nigeria Records Fresh 553 Confirmed Cases

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has yesterday reported another 553 newly recorded cases of coronavirus following an expanded testing capacity that have been put in place by the federal government.

The New COVID-19 cases in Nigeria have increased with 350 new recorded cases, totaling the country's infection to 11,516, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the cases. The new infections were recorded in 19 states including Lagos with 102, Ogun with 34, FCT with 29, Borno with 26, and Kaduna with 23.

New Coronavirus Loosing Potency: Experts

Health expert on Sunday has revealed that the new novel coronavirus is losing its potency and has become much lethal. The head of San Raffaele Hospital Alberto Zangrillo said "In reality, the virus clinically no longer exists in Italy.
