Kidnappers Of Greenfield University Students Kills Three – Kaduna Government

The Kaduna State government, on Friday, disclosed that bandits, who kidnapped students of Greenfield University, have shot dead three of the abducted students. In a statement by the Commissioner, for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, said the bodies of the students were found in Kwanan Bature village, close to the university. He added that the remains of the three students have been evacuated to a mortuary. “The remains of three students were found today (Friday), in Kwanan Bature village, a location close to the university, and have been evacuated to a mortuary by the Commissioner, Internal Security, and Home Affairs, and Force Commander, Operation Thunder Strike, Lt.Col. MH Abdullahi,” Aruwan said in the statement.

Gunmen Abduct Students From Kaduna Private University

Gunmen have Tuesday night attacked Greenfield University, a private tertiary institution, and abducted an unspecified number of students. The abductors who invaded the institution, shot sporadically to scare residents before taken students hostage. The University is situated along Kaduna-Abuja road in Chikun LGA of Kaduna State.

Nigerian troops have foiled multiple terrorist attacks targeted at soldiers and Muslim faithful while breaking the Ramadan fast at Gajiram and Damasak towns in Borno State. During the counter-terrorism operation on Tuesday night, effective close air support was provided by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) aircraft to the ground troops who were stationed at Damasak and Gajiram after they came under fire by ISWAP/Boko Haram terrorists. Adeboye Confirms The Release Of 8 Abducted RCCG Members

The General overseer of the Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye has disclosed that eight of his church members whom were abducted some weeks in Kaduna state have been released by the terrorists. The cleric made the announcement today through his official twitter handle. Recall on 26 March 8 members of RCCG, Region 30, Trinity Sanctuary, Kaduna, while on transit to a programme near Doka along the Kachia-Kafanchan Road were attacked, on their way.
