Lagos State House Of Assembly Speaker In EFCC Custody

The Speaker of the Lagos House of Assembly Mudashiru Obasa is currently at the office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for the allegation of misappropriation of public funds.

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu has barred the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) and other police special teams including the Special Tactical Squad (STS), Intelligence Response Team (IRT), and Anti-Cultism Squad from routine patrols as well as other low-risk duties. Boko Haram Attack Gov Zulum's Convoy, Kills 15 Security Operatives

The Convoy of Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State has on Friday been attacked again by Boko Haram insurgents along Baga Highway in the state, killing fifteen security personnel including policemen, soldiers, and members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF). War On Corruption: SERAP Drag, Lawan, Gbajabiamila To Court For Hiding Report

Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has sued the President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan, and the Speaker House of reps, Femi Gbajabiamila for keeping mum on the corruption report.
