Jang: Court To Resume Trail

The Plateau State High Court will on January 21st, 2020 resume the trial of a former Governor of the state, Jonah Jang.

The Attorney General of the Federation and the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami has disclosed why the Federal Government cannot order the release of the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zazaky alongside Dasuki and the convener of #RevolutioNow, Omoyole Sowore. Malami revealed that it was not the Federal Government who arrested and arraigned El-Zakzaky, from the first place but a Kaduna state government.

President Buhari has reacted to the killings by terrorists on Friday, saying he was saddened over the execution of 11 hostages by the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP). The terror group claimed the killing was to avenge the death of its leader Abu Bakr Albaghdadi and Abul-Hassan Al-Muhajir who were killed by the US troops in Iraq and Syria respectively.

In his felicitation massage on the eve of Christmas, President Buhari has called on the criminal elements like the Insurgents, Kidnappers, armed robbers and economic saboteurs to have a rethink and turn over a new leave by joining men of the goodwill or they will meet their waterloo soon. President Buhari made this statement while congratulating the Christendom for another round of Christmas celebration for the year 2019.
