Gratification - INEC Deputy Director Bags Six Years Jail Term

In a ruling by Justice Yusuf Birnin-Kudu of Jigawa State High Court has on 28th June 2019 sentenced a Deputy Director of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Auwal Jibrin, to six years in jail. Ex-Minister’s Son Regains Freedom

Following concerted efforts by men of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and operatives of the Department of State Security (DSS), less than 24 hours after his abduction, the son of Nigeria's former Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, has been released. Confirming his release, the Oyo State Police Command, disclosed that Mr Dayo Adewole, who was allegedly kidnapped on Tuesday about 6 pm at gunpoint in his farm in Iroko, Akinyele Local Government Area of the state has released unconditionally.
