The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has received another batch of 180 stranded Nigerians from Libya. The development was confirmed to newsmen on Tuesday in Lagos by Alhaji Idris Muhammed, Coordinator, Lagos Territorial Office of NEMA 

Pension Theft: Yusuf Jailed For 6 Years, To Refund N22.9b

The Court of Appeal Abuja Division has jailed John Yusuf for six years (6) and also asked him to refund N22.9billion. Recall that he was reprimanded for stealing N32.8billion police pension money.

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) is contemplating of suspending a multi-billion naira corruption allegation against, Bala Mohammed, succumbing to the constitutional provision that guarantees absolute immunity from criminal prosecution as he emerged governor-elect.

A Federal High Court, sitting in Abuja, Wednesday, has fixed May 13 for the determination of whether or not it would order the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate and prosecute the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC and two-term former Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole, on allegations of official corruption.
