FOREX: EFCC Raids Dangote Head Office
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, today, 5th January, 2023 stormed the Lagos Head Office of the Dangote Group.
Operatives of the anti-graft agency were in the company to carry out a search on forex allocations to the company during the tenure of Godwin Emefiele, as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.
The search team however requested for related documents on forex transactions with the CBN for further examination.
