The decomposing body of the kidnapped Taraba State House of Assembly member, Hon. Hosea Ibi was on Monday recovered from the old site of SCC (Kwari) along Takum Kashimbila Road in Takum Local Government Area of the state. Recall that Hon. Ibi was kidnapped from his house, located opposite Ada Barracks in Takum, the headquarters of Takum Local Government Area, sixteen days ago.
The Taraba state Police Command had since confirmed the recovery of the decomposing body. The Public Relations Officer of the Command, ASP David Mishar who spoke to newsmen, assured that the perpetrators of the dastardly act would be apprehended and brought to justice.
Meanwhile, there is growing tension in the area as restive youths have taken to the streets to protest the gruesome murder of their representative. The youths have also accused security agencies of doing very little to rescue him before his demise.
