The Osun State Government as of 19th February 2024 officially opened a portal for two weeks to the public for immediate recruitment of eligible teachers in Public Primary and Secondary Schools. This step is in the quest to enhance quality education in the state. Prospective applicants are advised to visit the official recruitment portal at http://jobportal.osunstate.gov.ng to access the application form, and a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (2,000) only in the course of the process.
For Eligibility, applicants are to meet the following criteria:
1. Possession of WASSCE/NECO-SSCE/NABTEB with the five (50) credits in relevant subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings.
2. Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), Degree in Education or Basic Degree with PGDE, HND+ PGDE.
3. Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certificate.
4. Computer knowledge will be an added advantage.
5. Any other relevant qualifications.
More so, applicants are required to provide the following details additionally.
1. Recent passport photograph (compulsory).
2. Functional mobile phone number (compulsory)
3. Functional email address (compulsory).
4. Local Government of Origin (compulsory).
5. Birth certificate/Court declaration of age document.
6. Attestation from three (3) referees.
7. National Identification Number (NIN).
8. Means of Identification (Compulsory) either a National ID card, voter card, International Passport, or National Drivers license.
