Biafra: Dokubo Asari Call On Buhari Govt Not To Release Nnamdi Kanu

Former Niger Delta militant leader, Dokubo Asari has called on President Buhari's government not to make the mistake of releasing the leader of Indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu. The militant leader said Nnamdi Kanu must be restricted from people because of his antecedents of instigating violence that has caused many lives through violence from his followers in the South East.
Asari made this call on the Federal Government yesterday live through his Facebook official account.

Police Debunk Helicopter Crash

Recall the Accident Investigation Bureau, in a statement signed by its spokesman, Tunji Oketunbi on 27th January 2022, reporting a crash of a Bell 429 helicopter with Registration Marks 5N-MDA which took place on 26th January 2022 belonging to the Nigeria Police Force. The NPF in a statement by its spokesperson, Frank Mba has debunked the report, claiming that it safe landed in Bauchi.

Jailbreaks: Correctional Service Redeploys DCGs In Major Shake Up

The Nigerian Correctional Services (NCoS) has reshuffled its senior officers in a bid to curb the recent jailbreaks across the country, the NCoS spokesperson, Francis Enabore said. The Deputy Comptroller General of Corrections (DCG) in charge of operations, Ahmed Tukur, and the Deputy Comptroller of Corrections (DCC), Head of Intelligence and Investigations, Nkechi Nwanebo, have been asked to quit their roles and have been redeployed.

Boko Haram Cases: Court Set To Resume Process – FG

The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN) has today disclosed that a court sitting in Kainji, Niger state will soon embark sitting on pending Boko Haram cases to ensure that prosecution of the terrorist is dispensed. Malami made the announcement today when he received an Ambassador to the Netherlands, Eniola Ajayi. The Minister applauded the envoy for her effort and patriotism.
